Last weekend we went to Kempen Penjagaan Haiwan Peliharaan at Taman Tasik Cempaka, Bangi...
Well, there were mostly cats. Others were ayam serama and dogs, and snakes! wohoo... how snake can be a pet...

This cat looks quite weird.. but still cute...

Our kids (plus ayah actually) are all big fan of cats. Unfortunately we are all allergic to cats because of asthma. Another thing, we live in a terrace house with limited garden area. The management of the cat's litter will be quite difficult. That won't be a problem if we live in kampung. So there you go. We have no reason to have a cat at home.. heheh...

Actually, mama also loves cats. When I was little, we used to have a cat named Cebol. She was a white cat with black and brown spot at her forehead. When she gave birth to 6 cute little kittens, the trouble began. The kittens wee and pee everywhere. And their favourite place was Atuk's shoes! And we were little at that time that we only know how to play with them, not to clean their messes. Finally, Atuk brought them to our kebun and released them there.. including Cebol. Because it would be cruel to separate them from their mother. We cried... but just couldn't do anything...

That is one of the cats that I remembered most. Actually every now and then, there are cats coming and going...

Nowadays, actually every morning, there is a cat very loyally waits behind our backyard gate, waiting for food. And every morning, it is Luqman's duty now before going to school, to give her some leftover fish or chicken. Or if there is nothing in the fridge, Luqman will give her ikan bilis... So lucky aa you cat.. hehhe... Then she will go away... Tomorrow morning she will come back.. Aah she doesn't even have a a name yet. Today I will suggest to Luqman some cute names.. hehhe..

Be good to cats, be good to animals. Encourage our kids to be kind to animal. Tell them that they are all makhluk Allah too.. And every good deeds will be rewarded.
